How "Cookies" are used in WisePay's Software
WisePay Software Services is providing this information to make you aware of how cookies are used during your visit to WisePay's Services.
WisePay Software Services only uses session cookies. This is for your security and also to display content that is specific to you.
Session cookies are files that allow WisePay to link the actions of a user during a single browser session. They are not stored long term and your web browser normally deletes session cookies when closed.
On WisePay software we need to be able to track you during your visit so that we can display the shopping cart and the products that apply to the account you are logged in to.
WisePay does not use persistent or third party cookies. Definitions of these can be found below.
These remain on the user's device between sessions and allow one or several sites to remember details about the visitor. They may be used by marketers to target advertising or to avoid the user having to provide a password each visit.
For security, you must log in to your WisePay Service each time, we do not store you login details. Your browser may remember your log in credentials depending on the settings you have configured for your computer. WisePay does not tell your computer to remember your username and password.
A cookie is classed as third-party if it is issued by a different server to that of the domain being visited. It could be used to trigger a banner advert based on the visitor's viewing habits.
WisePay does not display any kind of advertising or information from third party sites.
For your security, WisePay integrates with various specialist online payment bureaus (SagePay, WorldPay, PayPal etc.)
however cookie data is not exchanged with any of these organisations.
